2. Q: What exactly is Enzyme Nutrition and Functional Digestive Nutritional Testing? Does it treat cancer, diabetes, or heart disease?
A: Enzyme nutrition is a systematic approach to locating the nutritional stress in one's body by test procedures that are reliable, reproducible, and measurable. Some examples of test procedures are: Physical examination, blood work, urinalysis, and x-ray to name a few. The nutritional stress is removed by changing the person's diet specifically for them based on their physiology; give supplemental enzymes to digest the diet; detoxify the body; and improve elimination. While Enzyme nutrition does not treat diseases or any medical condition, it is important to give the body nutritional support, which is what enzyme nutrition does.

5.Q: Are enzyme supplements considered safe and can they be used with children?
A: Enzyme supplements are classified under the FDA classifications as food extracts and therefore are considered to be extremely safe. Food enzymes are supposed to be obtained by eating a diet of raw food. Because we have to cook our food to kill bacteria, and because of the processing and chemical contamination of our food, the essential food enzymes are destroyed. The supplements that we utilize are designed to replace those essential nutrients in a supplemental form so they are safe for children too. If you have any concerns please check with your medical doctor before beginning enzyme replacement nutrition.
